Chris' professional achievements are many. In 2012, he earned a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for the investigative piece Inmates on Unemployment, which prompted PA lawmakers to change state policy saving taxpayers millions.  In 2011, he not only earned a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for an investigative piece on legislative pensions, but he also took home an Edward R. Murrow Award for breaking news.  In 2009, he won a Midwest Emmy for his coverage of US Airways Flight 1549.

Over his career, Chris has received more than a dozen Associated Press and State Broadcasters Association awards for best Spot News, Live Shot, Feature Reporting and more.  Reporting

Chris has appeared on The O"Reilly Factor on Fox News to discuss his story Living off the Government.  He has done multiple live shots for MSNBC, appeared on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, CNBC, and was the focus of The Weather Channel's documentary "Weather Caught on Tape"

His investigative series into TLC's reality show Breaking Amish received international attention and was featured and discussed during the show's reunion episode.  His reporting on The Discovery Channel's Amish Mafia was also featured in its season finale.  

In addition to reporting, Chris has anchored three newscasts for two NBC affiliates that dominated the ratings.  At the CBS-21 anchor desk, his ratings were the highest at the station.  Resume

As a diverse journalist, Chris also wrote a highly successful syndicated column.   "On Point with Chris Papst" was available to more than 100,000 households in Berks, Chester, Montgomery, Lebanon and Lancaster Counties.  The column is on hold due to other professional opportunities.  

Beyond journalism, Chris is nearing completion and publication of his first novel, Devolution.  The political/historical thriller tells a cautionary tail of how a global superpower can destroy itself.
